What we collect
- Your Google account's name, email address and profile picture, when you sign in. We don't keep Google's sign-in tokens.
- Your work: briefs, chat messages, scripts, the photos, voice samples, videos and links you add, and the images, voices and videos Probably makes.
- Your organizations: their members, roles, Spaces, settings, credits and spending limits.
- Payment records: what you bought, your plan and its renewals, refunds and disputes. Whop handles your payment details; we don't see your card number.
- Sign-in sessions, with the IP address and browser they came from, and a random device ID in a cookie. We use these to keep you signed in, protect your account and limit free drafts per device and network.
How we use it
- To make, store and deliver your videos, and remember a Space's preferences between videos.
- To run your account and billing, and to answer you when you write to us.
- To stop abuse, such as repeated free drafts, and to keep Probably secure.
- To fix problems. Probably staff can see an organization's members and credits, and the requests a video sent to AI providers, when they need to support you or find a bug. Staff also review videos reported through a share link.
We don't sell your information or your content, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't use your content to train AI models.
Cookies and tracking
Probably sets only its own cookies: your sign-in session, the device ID above, a short-lived cookie that carries a redeem code through sign-in, and the visit cookie described next. Your browser also stores your theme and unsent drafts. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on the site.
How we know where visitors come from
When you open our site, we set a cookie named probably_touch. It holds a random visitor ID and two notes about how you arrived, your first visit and your latest visit from a link: the campaign tags in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term), the website that linked to you here (its name only, not the page), the page you landed on, a referral code if the link had one, and when. It lasts 90 days. It doesn't hold your IP address, your browser or device, the full address you came from, or ad click IDs.
We record the same notes for each visit, and when you sign up or first buy, we keep where you came from with your account. We use this only to learn which of our posts, articles and campaigns bring people who find Probably useful, and we see it as totals per source. Visit records are deleted after 400 days. It's our own first-party cookie: it's never shared with or sold to anyone, and no third-party tracker runs on the site.
Who processes it for us
We use other companies to run Probably: hosting, the database, background work, file storage, payments, sign-in, and the AI providers that write, film, voice and research your videos. Each gets only what its part of the work needs, under its own terms, and may process it outside your country. Some AI providers keep a copy of what they make for a short time before it's deleted.
How your files are kept
Uploads and videos are kept in a private storage bucket with no public address. The studio, and the AI providers doing the work, open them with short-lived signed links. We store session tokens, invitation links and codes only as hashes, and share links as hashes and encrypted copies.
Share links
When you share a video, anyone with the link, or only the people you name, can watch and download it until the link expires or you turn it off. Share pages are kept out of search engines.
How long we keep it
Your work stays while your organization exists. When an owner deletes an organization, it can be restored for 30 days; after that its videos and files are deleted. We keep payment records after that. To delete your account or anything else, email hi@probably.co.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hi@probably.co from the address you sign in with, and we'll reply. You can also leave an organization at any time.
Children
Probably is for adults making ads. It isn't for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect children's information.
Changes and questions
When this policy changes, we'll post it here with a new date. Questions about your privacy? Email hi@probably.co.
